• NYS Certification in English to Speakers of Other Languages and/or Child Education (Grades 1-6) with Bilingual Education Extension or Pre-K- 6 with Bilingual Education Extension
• Bilingual (fluent in Spanish)
• Strong knowledge of NYS ELA standards and NYSESLAT Targets of Measurement
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to analyze data to inform instruction
• Ability to design and deliver instruction utilizing research-based teaching practices for ENL students
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues

DUTIES:

• Provide technical assistance in the planning and implementation of ELL instruction
• Research appropriate instructional materials to support ELL content instruction
• Provide support to general education teachers to ensure the successful integration of ENL students

EXPERIENCE:

 Experience working with students who are multi-language learners

Integration of NYS content standards and new language development

Scheduling and administration of K-12 NYSITELL & NYSESLAT exams
